Tinkerbelle was due July 6, 1998..but to our surprise, she was born May 23, 1998...one month and one week earley. She was 16 1/2" tall and weight about 10 pounds.

This standing up stuff is tough.  Mom laughed and said I kind of looked like a spider.  I am a week old in these pictures.  I get to stay in the air conditioned barn since my lungs aren't fully developed.  I get to go outside some now  when it's cool   ???   (get real, this is Texas).

I finally figured out this nursing stuff.  Mom and Dad (Brenda & Lonnie) had to hold me up under my "real Mom" (Molly) and hold the teat in my mouth. My legs were so wobbly, I just couldn't reach.  I can now run around the pen and drive my Mom crazy! I'm even getting to play with the other foals now!!!

Time for a nap.  Mom and God are watching over.  Thanks for all of your prayers and asking how I am.
